This network adapter kit comes with two PLA5405 Powerline adapters with speeds up to 1200 Mpbs for use up to 984ft (300m). The advanced HomePlug AV2 Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) features increases throughput and coverage by using all three electrical wires: line, neutral, and ground. No home or network modifications are required to set up these units. Simply plug one unit into a power outlet and connect it to your router. Then connect the second unit to another power outlet in another room and the device of your choice. You've now created a network ideal for HDTVs, multimedia HD streaming, and online gaming.
