This is a complete system, and it’s ready to spin some vinyl! Includes the amplifier, turntable and speakers, along with the wires to connect them.
The system works well but a couple of features aren’t working, which is reflected in the price. This stereo is perfect for a garage, dorm or cottage, or anyone on a budget!
The Luxman R-106 works perfectly as an amplifier (it has an FM/AM tuner built in, but it’s not working). It has a Phono input to directly connect a turntable, as well as 4 more inputs that use RCA connectors to attach your other sources.
The JVC L-A100 turntable works and sounds great, and the needle is in good condition. The auto-return and Stop features aren’t working, which means you have to manually lift the arm at the end of the record, otherwise it’ll keep playing forever.
The JVC S-P55 speakers work perfectly and will play as loud as you need, there’s just a small amount of staining at the bottom of one fabric grille. The dimensions are 23.25” tall, 13” wide and 11” deep.
I’m happy to give a tutorial to the buyer, so even if you’ve never touched a turntable or amplifier before, you’ll leave with a solid knowledge of the basics!
$175 is the price for the whole setup, and as always, you’re welcome and encouraged to fully test everything in person prior to purchase - bring along some records!
