Vintage Portable NORDMENDE Transita Royal Radio, WEST Germany Introduction

For Sale : This nice vintage Portable NORDMENDE "Transita Royal" Transistor Radio. Quality built in 1960's in West Germany. I believe it to be somewhat of a rare find. Great for a vintage Radio collector ! It is in good condition for it's age. With the Power Supply, the radio turns on, & gets stations. But probably could use an electronic cleaning/tune-up ( Ex: when yu first turn on the ON/OFF Volume knob, you get that initial fuzziness with the volume control, which is typical with old electronics that are dirty ). Antenna is fully intact. NOTE : Have not tested it running on Batteries yet. ( Battery compartment is dirty, but NOT full of corrosion, which is a good sign ) $140 takes it !
