Vintage Antique Rare Books About Ontario History

Vintage Antique Rare Books About Ontario History Introduction

All of these books are hardcovers without dust jackets. Wonderful books about Ontario's history to add to your collection. In general they are in very good used condition, especially considering their ages (published between 1923-1954) with good bindings and bright pages. I've listed a few imperfections for each book but feel free to request more information, photos or make an offer on multiple books. Must pick up. 1. The Pioneers of Old Ontario $70 W. L. Smith, illustrations by M. McGillivray, published by George N. Morang in 1923, 343 pages. Has rips to pages (from the printing maybe?) 26/27, 31/32, 43/44 (doesn't affect the text) 2. The Picture Gallery of Canadian History: Vol. 3 1830 - 1890 $60 C. W. Jeffery's, published by The Ryerson Press 1950, 252 pages. Black/white illustrations with some black/white photos. School stamp on inside front. 3. Pioneer Life in the County of York $30 Edwin C. Guillet 1946, 166 pages. Few marks on pages and name written on inside front. Nice 2-page map of "County of York" on inside front and 2-page "Map of Toronto" on inside back. 4. York Township: An Historical Summary 1850 - 1954 $30 J. C. Boyle 1954, 131 pages. Lots of great black/white photos and a few maps. Name written on inside front. 5. The Physiology of Southern Ontario $95 L. J. Chapman & D. F. Putnam 1951, 284 pages. Black/white photos, maps etc. Please check out our other ads.
