Vintage Akai Direct Drive Turntable *No-Issues* Introduction
The Akai AP-206 is an auto-return, direct drive turntable made in Japan. Akai branded products from the 70's are some of the best from a decade that produced stellar electronics. This is from a particularly strong series of turntables from Akai. Holds speed nicely and has very smooth mechanics. Original except for the hinges - I have replaced the failure prone plastic hinges with proper metal ones. Restored, serviced, setup and tested. Brand new cartridge assembly. No issues - guaranteed.
