Vintage 80s Cafe Cruiser, City, Commuter Mystery Bike. Introduction

This frame came to me de-badged as you see it. Judging by the lugs, dropouts and the braze-ons it looks to be a quality frame definitely from the 80s. I posted the frame serial number on some Facebook pages and was told staring with an "h" it is a typical Japanese frame. The bike rides incredibly smooth and is very comfortable. As you can see in the last pic, the bike has been built from the ground up. Details are below. I can deliver anywhere in the GTA (no charge). I have used a mix of the cool and high quality original parts and made some modern upgrades to make the bike practical. _20 Inch (51cm) seat tube with a 22Inch (57cm) top tube, good for someone up to 5'11". Im 5'10" and it's perfect for me the way its set up now. _Brand New Tires, Seat, Crank Set and front Narrow-Wide Chainring. _I have high polished the original Suntour shifter, Dia Compe Brakes (new brake pads) and the Original seatpost. _Converted to single chainring in the front and kept original 6 speed in the back; that way it's very simple to use while still giving you some gears. These old Suntour friction shifters feel GREAT. _Wheels are Araya Aluminum with Suzue Sealed Bearing Hubs that spin free forever. _ I have added a modern sealed bottom bracket so no issues in the coming years. When you're buying a used bike a simple "tune-up" is not enough. There could be rusted and seized parts that would make a bike absolutely useless. If such is the case, many bike shops cannot / will not work on the bike. So that great deal you got for $150.00 suddenly becomes a nightmare. This is why I strip all my bikes down to the bare frame and build them back up. So you know the bike is 100% now and totally serviceable for years to come.
