Picture #8 shows a piece of it still attached to the front of the book. The binding has barely been cracked and I don't think anyone has read it except for the pages with the glossy pictures!! There are NO markings, stamps or stains that take away from the pristine quality. A must have for the avid fan of the Mystery of Oak Island and its original 1958 story told by the author, Reginald V.
