Teac X-1000R reel-to-reel Auto Reverse. Introduction
The sought after TEAC Reel to Reel was built to the highest standards under strict quality control to give years of faultless service. The Teac X-1000R is a fully bidirectional open-reel recorder designed to use both conventional tapes and the newly introduced EE (“Extra Efficiency”) type on reel sizes up to 10-1/2 inches. It also incorporates a dbx Type II noise-reduction system and operates at either 7-1/2 or 3-3/4 ips in the regular home-stereo quarter-track format.
The unit is in excellent physical and functional condition.
The capstan belt has been replaced recently.
The sale includes the Teac X-1000R tape recorder and the original reel hubs, plus the one original Teac RE-1003S 10" reel, and one 10” with tape. These often sell for around $100 each.
Local pickup preferred, no shipping, but I can meet half way from GTA or Montreal with a small fee.
