NICE, CLEAN, WORKS AND SOUNDS LIKE NEW
Laser lens was cleaned, transport rails were lubed, volume potentiometer and other switches were deoxed/lubed using pro grade D100/G5, to assure smooth performance
Heavy for the size, very good build, better than most later 1994 - 2010 Sony models.
The bottom plate is metal; it feels like a sturdy brick in hand.

The D-34 is a highly regarded high output classic Discman model with a great warm sound.
I find it a bit faster sounding and cleaner sounding than D-33.
They are similar, but there's that sonic difference; D-34 is slightly superior.
This model is hard to find in flawless condition (no issues, no skipping, not played to death previously).
In 2011 - 2014 it took me going through a whole bunch of D-33s and D-34s to finally
settling on this one, with plenty of life left in the laser/motor/spindle.
