Smaller ADVENT Speakers – Giant Killers – Excellent Condition Introduction

Excellent set of Smaller Advent speakers with new surrounds. Some refer to these speakers as “Giant Killers” due to the impressive performance for their size. The Henry Kloss-designed Advent speakers are classics in audio history and are in Stereophile’s list of the “Top 25 speakers of the last 40 years” and in Audioholics list of “The Top Ten Most Influential Speakers of the Last 50 Years”. These are very heavy speakers for their size and were designed to deliver the same sound as Large Advent speakers in a smaller package. To achieve that objective, impedance is 4 ohms and efficiency is slightly lower compared to the Large Advent. Very impressive tight bass for such a small speaker and some listeners prefer them to the Large Advent model due to a smoother midrange transition between the woofer and tweeter. All original drivers. Tested and sounding excellent. Woofers have new and correct surrounds. The walnut finish enclosures and grills are in mint condition with new black grill cloth and grill logos installed. The paper information/instructions is still there on the back of the enclosures.
