Lou Reed was a complete one-off. Without him, who can even guess what David Bowie would have done with the decade of the seventies. It was Lou's song "Sweet Jane" that apparently inspired David Bowie more than anything else that was being played in New York in the early seventies. As I write, only Iggy Pop still survives from the Lou, David and Iggy enfants terribles triumvirate. PLEASE NOTE: I always respond promptly to messages from potential buyers.
