In good working condition. Tested everything except mic inputs and quad playback. Everything except counter functions as expected (counter needs the belt replaced; I opened the unit and found the belt had broken with age). I am the second owner, owned since 1981. I filled a tape with music to test recording and listened back to it.
Stereo and quadraphonic playback; stereo (4-track 2-channel) record. 3.75 and 7.5 ips (9.5 and 19 cm/s) speeds. Works with up to 10.5-inch reels (e.g., 7-inch, 5-inch, etc.). Universal power input, 110/120/130/220/240V 50/60Hz switchable (currently set for Canada 120V/60Hz). There is a 50Hz sticker on the back from when I bought it, and I just left it on for nostalgia's sake.
Deck only with power cord. No tapes or NAB adapters included in the price; if that's a deal breaker for you we can talk about it. Otherwise, reels and hubs are just to show it working.
Wood panels have some surface damage, as you can see from the photos, but no deep gouges. The name plate has scratches as well as a few other small nicks and scratches that you can see in the photos.
I also have a Marantz 4240 quadraphonic receiver for sale, if you would like to put together a quadraphonic system.
