These speakers are absolutely amazing. They look like new, but sound better than new. That is because I upgraded the crossover with good quality Dayton and Solen capacitors. I also put in better quality resistors. The crossovers are pretty elaborate with several capacitors. It took me hours to do each one. I am sure it would cost several hundreds of $ to have them done professionally – but well worth the effort.
Don’t confuse these speakers with the more common 11SE. These are the Deluxe model – different animal. They will handle 300 watts. Beautiful oak cabinets with built in stands (stands are part of the cabinet). Each speaker weighs 80 lbs. The port is in the bottom (superior to front or rear ported speakers, in my opinion).
All drivers are original and work perfectly. The woofer surrounds are rubber.
