The SM-.4's were some of the 1st speakers made (1982) by the Canadian company, Mirage. Regardless of how old these speakers are, they sound fantastic!. The information I am giving you is what I was able to decipher from studying these speakers. The mid range 6 inch woofers are original, with new surrounds that are flexible and soft. The 3/4 inch high frequency tweeters were made by the high quality Denmark manufacturer "Vifa" (Model #D19TD-05). Pairs of these tweeters sell for between $45-$85. The cabinets are well built and packed with sound dampening insulation. Overall dimensions, without grills, are 6 3/4"D x 10"W x 16"H Cosmetically, the cabinets are in good shape for their age. The grills are good and both speakers have their original badges $85 for the pair
