These are 1988 Vintage Bata US GI Mickey Mouse Extreme Cold Boots. They were only worn a couple of times and are in mint condition. The size is Men’s size 4N but they fit Wide. If you are interested you can call me at 613-769-5608. No texts Please. The ultimate boot for working or playing in the cold. The original Government specs rate these boots down to -10 degrees Fahrenheit. The secret to their warmth is 2 seperate 1/2" wool felt "insoles" that are situated in between the outsole and the rubber inside lining. A wood shank does not allow cold to penetrate the boot. An extra 1/4" of insulation over the toe box provides further warmth. The valve on the outside of the boot allows for the difference in atmospheric pressure when the boot was worn by airborne troops and does not affect their warmth. If you spend any time in the cold, this is the boot for you!
