Meridian 565 Z3 7.1 Dolby Digital / DTS surround processor Introduction

For sale is an audiophile grade, THX certified, Meridian 565 surround sound processor with the Z3 7.1 upgrade for Dolby Digital AC-3 and DTS. Digital inputs support up to 96/24 stereo as well. This processor can be used as a digital pre-amp for Meridian DSP-series speakers, using the 4 SPDIF digital coax outputs and the S-Comms leads, or with any power amplifiers via the analog pre-outs. The unit features one Digital Coax, one Digital Optical, and one pair of Analog RCA inputs. If more inputs are required, I also have a 562V pre-amp available, which expands the capability to 5 Digital Coax, 2 Digital Optical, and 7 Analog Stereo pairs. Note: the two extra Subwoofer outputs are assignable to the Surround Back speakers in a 7.1 setup. They didn’t have a way of relabeling the back panel from 5.1 on units upgraded after production with the latest Z3 7.1 boards. This was setup with my DSP5000 surround sound system and worked perfectly. Only selling as I recently upgraded to an 861v6. Asking $500 for the 565 Z3.
