Mercier Mixte Upright Road Bike at Lumpy Bikes Introduction
Mercier is a brand from France, making bikes for 100 years, they have a tradition of making fine bicycles. This one is in very good condition. We have serviced it and made the necessary improvements to insure a long life of pleasurable riding. As it has traditional racing size wheels the bike is quicker and nimbler than other bikes of similar appearance. Frame size is 19.5" or 50cm. This really is a fast bike. Gearing is by Simplex. Tires are new Kenda 27 by 1 1/4. We left the original ivory coloured grips, white housing is mostly new. The seat is spring loaded and comfortable, brakes are lightweight alloy, steel pedal compliment the overall look. 2X5 speed gear range, sculptured lugs at the stem and seat post. Comes with bell, reflectors, kick stand, fenders and a handy back rack. A lovely bike! Proceeds of the sale of this are going to a person in need. Price is $175
