The LM-2 is a professional audio level conversion device, specifically designed to allow professional
balanced equipment to be interconnected with unbalanced devices.
On the LM-2, two channels provide conversion from high-level balanced signals (typically +4 or +8 dBm)
to low-level unbalanced signals (typically -10 or -20 dBV). Two other channels provide conversion from
low-level unbalanced to high-level balanced signals.
Gain adjustments for each of the four channels are readily accessible from the front panel, in order to
accommodate a wide range of signal amplitudes.
