New Kenda K40 city slicks - bought them for my child's bicycle
Size ETRTO 37-540 24x1 3/8
Note that there are several 24" sizes (I learned this the hard way - with these tires) - make sure you choose the right ones. I ordered these from Europe thinking (incorrectly) that 24 means 24 (spoiler: doesn't). Too expensive to ship back to seller. Inexpensive options were hard to find locally. My loss is your gain.
