I have 2 of these units that have been sitting unused for 1 year. Decided to sell because I don't have enough Gen motherboards for them all. i7-8700k is the high performance CPU and will keep kicking forever. You should have LGA 1151 socket motherboard for this CPU. I bought it used in 2022 for $350.00
