Hudson's Bay point blanket coat. Pre 1940 Amazing condition. Introduction

Beautiful old Hudson's Bay blanket coat. Complete with hood, belt and original tassel. Perfect for the Festival Du Voyageur and warm as heck too. Made in England. The dating is due to the label style which my research says was used from 1934 to 1940 and also in the 30s manufacture of coats shifted from England to Winnipeg. So the coat is probably more mid 30s than 1940. This is a 3 point coat, which just indicates the size of blanket used. I would say the size is large. I'm 5'11' and 210lbs and it fits me well. It is double breasted and will button up on the right or the left side so is suitable for male or female. The hood is held on with 5 buttons so is removable if needed. Not sure when this came into my family but it has been around as long as I can remember. I remember wearing it a few times as a teenager in the late 60s winters so I can attest to how warm it is. Comes from a cat friendly home, but has always been in a closet and I haven't allowed my cats to wear it despite their many protests. That being said, it could probably use a cleaning but I will leave that up to the new owner. The pictures say it all. Message if you have any questions about it. Thanks for viewing.
