This Retro server has been waiting around un-used for near to a decade, collected the parts and made it run, dual CPU and Ram loaded and tested. New thermal paste on the 2 hexCore CPUs with 176 gigabytes of Memory installed. HP P410i on board Array for Raid drives with a 512MB Memory Controller card. Installed HP's Windows 7 SP1-64bit, on Two 300GB 10K-rpm SAS drives attached to the Array as RAID-0, for a 600 GB main OS drive for build testing. I activated Win7, COA Iicience comes with, and put in the MS SHA2 updates for old Win 7. The DL360(G7) runs excellent and runs Quiet. Not the type of server that needs to hide in a closet. ---*====*--- Known for running like a stable tractor, and it does, quietly.
