I managed to find couple of other pairs for sale on Kijiji (see last photo)
I really wasn’t expecting that much when I hooked these up, I just figured they were typical big box bassey speakers, but what I found was the complete opposite. Not the biggest Audio name from the 70’s but they Made some really nice stuff and these speakers should be included in that discussion. Check the reviews online (Audioreview.com) what you’ll find is pretty much what I’m saying.
I swapped out the bullet horn tweeters (selling them separately) for some Piezo electric bullet horns (see photos 2 and 3 & 5 and 6. With the crossover adjustment these Piezo’s really get the job done. Not much of a drop off in highs at all from the Hitachi bullet horns.
Come and have a listen to these, I know you’ll be impressed.
Cabinets, grills, drivers all in 9/10 condition considering these will be 50 years old next year.
