Both in perfect working condition. The hfifmans he 400i are $100 flat perfect working condition. They come as is seen in picture and the cables are upgraded longer cables and honestly they sound better. ( These are the newer version with 2.5mm headphone jacks on the earcups I believe) The headband and earpads are heavily used but earpads are replaceable ($50 for a pair of replacement earpads for hifiman he 400i). You could probably send in the he 400i's to hifiman to replace headband but nothing wrong with them except the headband looks worn. The audio Technica headphones are in better condition as there is not much wear on earpads. but one of the headbands adapters snapped off as you can see in picture still fits exactly as before imo(since they barely feel like their there stock. even though they stay firmly on your head. Plus one of.the most comfortable headphones I've owned). These I will let go for $100 as well. Check the prices of these headphones the hifiman he 400i is $250 plus tax and shipping around $300 total I discounted it because of the wear. I'm pretty sure you can contact hfifman to replace the headband. the earpads are easy to replace as long as you have the 4 clips to place them in place properly. Just look for hifiman he400i specific replacement which is $50 if you get the cheaper ones they usually fit but don't have the clips so they slip off very easily not wearable. The audio Technica headphones go for $300 easy w/o tax or shipping the only problem is the head band snapped off you can test them I found no difference between the head band clamp with one snapped off or with both on feels the same. as they are very gentle on the clamping to begin with I find no difference between broken headband and regular. Plus there's a headband mod with elastic bands that even stock make these headbands clamp harder on your head In case you have a small head to fit better. I'm not willing to negotiate and like I said feel free to test either before buying. I bought much better headphones for a heavfty price this is why I'm selling these Also I bought these full price years ago I am the only owner. I might still have receipts. Ad 700x amazing for imaging therefore gaming.(Tbh better than any specific "gaming headphone" like razer ect if you know true audiophile headphones then you know. if you get a pair of audiophile headphones that exceeds in spatial imaging/ soundstage like the ad700x I'm selling, will blow any "gaming headphone" out of the water. Also in my experience and alot of others even though you see streamers with maybe some other audiophile headphones cuz they know what's up too like the dt990s that were built in the 90s btw these are still better. same with good DACs (even an odac will blow any gaming sound card or "high quality sound card" or gaming usb mixer for the headphones out of the water as well.) DACs are more meant for PC unless you use your spdif from a tv to a dac that supports the input. Gotta do your research there's even spdif to minitoslink adapters for dacs cables! He 400i just sounds awesome. Compared to beats LMFAO no competition if you value actual sound quality. even better sound quality then original HD 600 Sennheiser headphones. These are the hifimans they do have sibiliance though. That's why they're not $600-$1000 headphones. They really speak for themselves when you hear them enough said. Sound way above they're price range. But imaging for gaming is not bad but not the best like I said all around amazing might sound a bit bright but overall one of the most neutral pieces of audio equipment I've ever heard. Letting you hear what the music was meant to sound like no sort of distortion. If your buying for looks (like designer) look somewhere else but if your interested in actual sound quality and build quality these are for you. Like I said audio Technica ad700x perfect for gaming even better than dt990 dt880 ect anything in its price range for gaming. The new dt1990 and 1880 are better for image placement and all around but they are $700 lowest price w/o tax or shipping lool. The ad700x have amazing image placement they bring to the table But bass is shy very light bass headphones but excel everywhere else. PPERFECT FOR GAMING. Sound details good, sound tone ok, good mids and highs. Legitimate headphones you can tell when you listen to them.
