This product is a cold climate air source heat pump and air conditioner. It consists of two separate components: a compact, thin outdoor side discharge condenser and a sleek thin indoor unit connected as a system by refrigeration lines and signal power cable. These features allow for an easy ductless installation. The unit can be used as a main heat source or an addition to an existing HVAC system that needs a little support for optimal comfort. The unit can be used as a heater during the winter and as an air conditioner during the hot summer months. In the winter it can heat up the space up to 23 degrees Celsius considering that the outside temperature is no less then -25 degrees Celsius. Alternatively, in the summer months the air conditioner can cool your space to the lowest temperature of 16 degrees Celsius considering that the outside temperature is no more than 45 degrees Celsius. This unit can be a great solution for spaces that must be kept cool even during winter months with outside temperatures up to -15 degrees Celsius such as IT server rooms, greenhouses, hydroponic spaces, and many more. 115V power of this unit make it a great and easy unit to install in North America since its compatible with a single 20-amp breaker. Power and signal cables are included in the purchase price. This unit stands above its competition by offering an exclusive “I FEEL/FOLLOW ME OPTION” built into to its remote control. This function works as an addition sensor to expand the total area of the space allowing for optimal climate control. When the feature is activated, the remote will then act as the thermostat instead of the unit, helping to further extend the unit’s cooling range. To activate the Follow Me feature, point the remote control towards the unit and press the “Follow Me” button. The remote will display the actual temperature at its current location. The remote control will send this signal to the air conditioner every 3 minutes until the Follow Me button is pressed again. If the unit does not receive the Follow Me signal during any 7-minute interval, the unit will beep to indicate the Follow Me mode has ended. The unit offers a built in WIFI option allowing you to control it from your personal preferred electronic gadgets such as a smart phone, laptop, or tablet. Another great feature offered by this unit allows to prevent the space from going into a freezing temperature while the room is unoccupied. In operating heat mode, the air conditioner runs at minimum power, it blows warm air into the room in order to maintain a temperature of around 8 Degrees Celcius to prevent freezing points. This is a great function for a cottage or when the whole family is out of the house on vacation and there is pet or flower/plant that require some warmth. A temperature of 8 Degrees Celsius is enough to keep them warm while only consuming a very small amount of power. The unit’s sound level of 34-37-40 DBA can be compared with the sound of whisper or suburban area at nighttime making it extremely quiet and non-disturbing.
