Much better in ride, overall feel and handling than newer post-2008 Chinese-made GT models (Avalanche, Aggressor, etc), because components not the same quality, not even close, just one example, nowadays they put junk Tourney derailleurs where they put Acera or Deore in the 90's),
Yes, Costco sells garbage level brand new bikes with Tourney on them for $500, and that's the cheapest!
