Fully Serviced Altec Lansing Model 14 Speakers Introduction

Selling my Altec Lansing Model 14 speakers. They are fully functional and sound great. I am the second owner. Comes with original owners manual and warranty sheet. I would have loved to keep these, but I am moving house and they are too big to come with. I brought them back to life last July with new bespoke SimplySpeakers foam on both woofers and a full professional service of both crossovers by Sigma Electronics Services which included ultra high end audiophile grade polypropylene capacitors. Priced much lower than top dollar because they are unrestored cosmetically and the tweeter diaphragms are still original. I think they are fine as-is, but if you are a perfectionist and want these speakers museum quality, I would recommend replacing the tweeter diaphragms, redoing the grille cloths and having your trusted furniture refinisher sand and re-stain the tops.
