If you are tech savvy and a problem solver, then this printer might be for you. Firstly, this is an industrial grade Hewlett-Packard color printer. Essentially, they are bulletproof. The problem is this is an older printer which means that you have to figure out how to get it running on current systems. I had it running I think on Windows 10 but it's been a while and I'm not sure anymore. Also, as a color laser jet printer, the supplies for this thing are a tad expensive. I bought most of my stuff off of eBay just to try to keep the costs down. It is an excellent printer for students printing charts, etc in color. It is not very good for doing realistic photographs. I can also warn you that this thing is very heavy and took all I can to lift it. I have two of them no less. The first one I used as my main printer. The second one I kept for parts just in case. Actually, you could probably get the second one working if you put some time into it and use it or sell it yourself.
In summary, the printer will be a challenge, but, if you can get it working, they are great!
