Bike trailer (attaches to adult's bike, child can pedal behind) for sale, Adams brand. Foldable: open lever, remove seat post, and it folds up to be more compact for storage or transportation in the trunk of a car. Trail-a-bike has no speeds or brakes and child cannot steer it - adult controls all of these. However, when child pedals, it does turn the trail-a-bike's wheel, so the child does feel that they are contributing. (In fact, a very motivated child can push the adult, who can simply coast!). The stem/neck of the trail-a-bike inserts into a socket which attaches to the adult's bike's seat post. Our trail-a-bike comes with two such sockets (one for each parent). Sockets remain attached to the adult's bike. Attaching the trail-a-bike: remove the nut from the end of the shaft, insert stem of trail-a-bike into socket, reinsert shaft, and install nut. Only needs to be finger-tight - no tools required (other than initial installation of socket to adult's bike). The shaft with nut has a lanyard (available in both the hardware photograph and on the trail-a-bike itself). Last photograph shows a similar trail-a-bike in action (I have removed the sockets from our adult bikes so cannot connect our trail-a-bike to it to take a photograph).
