I parted out a working Dual CS 1245 turntable that suffered from some frustrating (and very common) auto-cycle issues. Since the problem was only with its automatic operation, electrical parts are being sold as working pulls with no guarantee because of their age. A number of parts have already been SOLD. Here is a list of the remaining parts that I have available for sale: 1. Strobe assembly (225 321 & 236 917); 2. Power switch (242 583); 3. Single-play spindle (201 101) and OEM Dual 45 RPM adaptor (220 213); 4. Pitch adjustment knob with gear (234 914 & 232 078), tonearm indent knob (240 151), and anti-skating knob with clear plastic pointer disk (239 582); 5. Start/Stop lever (240 062), belt lifting mechanism (234 428) and cueing lift cam (240 063); 6. Tonearm rest (236 911); 7. Metal platter (242 588) and rubber mat (242 092) with metal insert (238 434); 8. 'Dual 1245' (242 592), 'anti-skating' (242 591), and '33/45 pitch control' (237 222) trim plates; 9. Top plate assembly (with the yellow cycle gear) and all linkage shown in the last photo. Because it will be expensive to ship the top plate as an assembly, I can remove and ship specific items to save on postage. All of the above part lots or assemblies are $15 each, two for $25, three for $30, or $50 for everything in this ad. Many parts are useable on other Dual models, but I will leave it to you to download the Vinylengine Service Manuals to determine compatibility. If you don't see what you need in the photos I no longer have it, so please don't ask if it is still available. If you see it in the photos it IS still available unless I have noted above that it is 'SOLD'. I can't help it if postage is more that the cost of the part(s), so shipping is not included in my firm (yet far less than eBay) asking prices. Delivery within North and East London will be $5 for any number of items, so please look at my other ads to take advantage of the delivery fee.
