Dave Dawson at Truk: The War Adventure Series -Book 15 of the Series ( Final Volume ) By: Bowen, E Sidney ( aka - James Robert Richard ) ............................ ----------( 1st Printing of the First Edition ---offered as is / a filler copy but still rare and looks pretty good overall ) ---hardcover, a solid Fair to Good example of this scarce book in the Dave Dawson series, overall rubbing and wear, wee bit of loss at spine and corner tips, the usual browning to the paper ---it appears that the half title and title page are beginning to crack near the gutter (still attached but threatening), the book was bent sustantially but I have managed to "flatten" it out so that the book is quite square and flat overall, there are stress creases from that bend on the verso of both covers, some soiling to boards but overall the green cloth is presentable, there was a 2-3 inch break along the spine on the front board which has been reinforced with some glue, --- in a chipped and heavily torn Fair to Good original dustjacket which has small tape repairs on the verso, of course the jacket is now in a hi-quality mylar protector ---overall a reasonable addition to any Dave Dawson collection and looks quite good on the shelf, ..............................
