Classic BMX GT Performer restoration project, complete new parts Introduction
Classic BMX GT Performer restoration project, complete with all new parts
Had to take a road trip a few years ago to find this beauty. Was planning to restore it as new and bought everything needed which includes:
-New Kool stop brake pads 30$
-Salt Pus HH 10" handlebar 80$
-Old school seat clamp 5$
-Red line flight locking grips flanged 20$
-3x spare tubes 27$
-Old school layback seat post 22.2" 27$
-2x new Maxxis Hookworm tires 88$
-new seat 20$
Total for all parts came up to 343.44$ with taxes (I still have all the receipts).
Paid the bike 300$ several years ago and drove 2 hours away to pick it up.
Asking 600$ for everything, once done and assembled with the new parts it's going to be pretty much brand new.
Bike has footpegs on both wheels, I also have a small box of extra parts I will include with it as well.
This classic is from the late 90s approx, Dave Mirra's era. Reproduction labels are also available on eBay for this model.
I just have too many projects pending and I honestly dont know when I will have time to get to it.
Asking for 600$ for everything, the brand new parts alone are worth more than half of that.
Located near Aylmer, QC (Terry fox and 148).
