Byte Magazine collection for sale. I was a subscriber to the magazine from the 1980s into the 1990s.
Canada Post was extremely unreliable for a while where my subscription did not come and in some cases they destroyed the magazine if the delivery wrappers did not sufficiently protect them from incompetent, careless postal handling.
Some years had the regular 12 issues plus two or three special issues dealing with IBM personal computer changes such as for Personal System/2, networking, and who knows what else such as McIntosh.
I scanned the front covers of all the magazines in the collection, used the file names to examine which ones were missing.
I then made html code to search the internet archive for what the missing covers should look like, and to me, I recognize none of the missing ones so that they were never delivered to my home thanks in large part to Canada Post as a crown corporation undertaking cost savings that resulted in poorer and poorer service quality, lost deliveries, destroyed shipments and so forth.
Some issues are 600 or so pages, and so are quite thick, but others like the special edition ones are slightly more than 100 pages or so.

A GNU-Linux word count on the list of Byte Magazine cover images indicates that the collection consists of 153 issues in total including one where the same month issue was sent to me twice where the covers of the two are different by having a feature list blurb in a four inch top right hand side trianglular graphic listing some key articles or topics covered in the issue and the other same monthly issue has no such blurb on the cover.
The magazines when stacked on the floor consisted of 5 to 7 stacks of about 1 to 2.5 feet high. Each issue I guesstimate to weighing between 1 and 3.5 pounds, making the total weight a bare minimum of 153 pounds, and a maximum of 3.5 times that amount = 535.5 pounds.
If shipping costs a few dollars per pound, then we are talking significant shipping costs alone not including the time and effort to get and place these things in boxes, and paying for insurance for each box for the costs involved, etc.
One of the magazine issues has a section of two or so pages that were not correctly cut to proper form, so those pages in the top outer corner has chaff that could be characterized as about one quarter inch thickness for two inches on the top and outer magazine edge dangling as an obscure overhang.
Most of the magazine issues had the mailing label placed on the front cover during certain years, and I have removed my name and address from 90 percent of these issues. The labels left some residue on the covers that can be further removed if the "right" technology is used that shall remove the affixing glue and label paper that remains affixed.
The scanned cover images were done at a resolution of 100 x 100 dots per inch so that most of the fine print on these images is entirely readable, but the JPEG file sizes for these magazine covers ranges to be approximately 700 kbytes each, with some smaller and some larger.
Kijiji obviously limits the number of magazine cover images that I can include in the ad.
