Boy Scout Cubmaster Officer's Hat Badge Introduction
Vintage Scout Cubmaster Officer's Hat Badge. Circular inlaid with dark green enamel with an applied "Lean & Hungry" Wolf's head and "Do Your Best" motto scrolled in yellow enamel. The reverse is impressed with the maker's detail.... BIRKS ELLIS***, with original two loop fittings, complete with split pin. (2 photos att.) Best guesstimate only, but I believe this badge may date back to 1930's...?
Also included is the original (famous) blue Birks box with label that reads.....
THE BOY SCOUT ASSOCIATION. INCORPORATED BY ROYAL CHARTER
This item was stored in a box for many decades. The condition is excellent which suggests it was seldom used.
