I will continue to trim down my vast collections of many hobbies due to my early retirement overseas in 4 more years. I am selling a vintage BMX old school/mid school - GT (180mm) 4130 chromoly - 3 Piece crank set with original American cup bottom bracket no longer produced for a FIRM $549. Note: GT Sprocket seen in the images is NOT included and for demonstration purposes ONLY! No questions please as I am over 50, purchased over 20 years ago and have been out of this hobby for decades. I loved to display the bikes in my private bike museum and hence the condition of my pieces. But as I retire, it’s time to let them go. HAPPY TO KEEP as well! First $150 deposit payment via E-Transfer reserves it until you can pick it up. I have checked EBay and found that similar cranks in rusty, dented and chipped condition sell for $480. My cranks are not only the better spindle with less and thicker spines versus the smaller spines that strip easily, but are in better than excellent condition! I can’t say NEW-MINT because I had them on my vintage Speed Series GT 24 Cruiser, but I will let you be the judge. Also I do remember these 180mm cranks given me more speed than 175mm cranks. Most cranks nowadays come in 175mm and shorter! Also see the close up images of the spindle and see the shape that it is in! You won’t find another set of original cranks and bottom bracket in this condition or better. I have included pictures that will speak about the condition of this item. I will not reserve this item for anyone based on a verbal promise of interest. It is on a first come, first serve basis. As a collector that I am most of items have been kept on a shelf on display or at most used once or twice to test. That should tell you a little bit about the condition. In addition to that, all of my collections have not been exposed to direct sunlight, come from a smoke and pet free home. We can certainly discuss layaway with a deposit if it helps you to obtain this item, but I would strongly recommend paying it in full and taking it home so you can enjoy it sooner. I leave it up to you since I do not need the money right away. Shipping is available on terms as described below.
