Suitable for 0–12 months, up to 25 lbs max. Straps are adjustable, once you figure out the fit you just strap it on and the baby snuggles right in.
It's very handy for going out and about. I have found it breastfreeding friendly too (leave the back straps on and just undo the "seat" part). It goes on easily and intuitively, and is compact and easy to transport.
