Black ribbon detailing, beaver main top, black silk interior.
Condition: Excellent
Interior sweatband shows minor wear, meaning a slight discolouration. Very minor but worth mentioning.
Very little wear on this hat.
The hat comes complete with a vintage Simpson's cardboard hat box and a Simpson's velvet hat grooming tool.
Crown your head with this wonderful topper at high events like weddings or horse races.

ABOUT TRESS AND CO:
Cooper Tress Snr. (1787-1869) founded the Tress & Co. hat firm in 1846. He was joined at the firm by his son, Cooper Tress Jnr. and later by Cooper Tress Jnr’s sons, Sidney Cooper Tress and Herbert Charles Tress. The company was active in England for over one hundred years being established and finally selling to Christy’s in 1953. They closed the Stamford St., Southwark site where today the Mad Hatter Hotel is situated.
Tress & Co. was very prosperous and well known throughout the world. It was awarded Prize Medals, Paris 1855 & 1867, London 1862, Philadelphia 1876 and Sydney 1879.
