This headphone amplifier might not have a lot of 'bells and whistles' or a fancy brand name, but it has plenty of power and great sound quality. It is well-built; using a solid all-metal case, chassis and front panel, and comes with its original 3.0 amp power supply. It has plenty of power for high-impedence headphones, and I am happy to demonstrate it if you bring yours along. I recently upgraded to a different amp because I wanted balanced inputs and outputs, so this one needs a new home. If you are using the headphone output of a vintage receiver, this little amp will be a big improvement. Just connect it to the tape/line outputs of your receiver), any line-level source, or even the line output of a phono preamp. It is an easy and inexpensive way to ad headphones to a home theatre receiver without that feature. There are inputs for 1/8-inch or RCA stereo cables. A cable is not included, but I will provide a 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch headphone jack adaptor. There is a front-mounted power switch and illuminated (blue) volume control.
