All flash drives are manufactured using decimal numbers such as 1MB = 1000KB, 1GB = 1000MB but our computer operating system uses binary numbers such as 1MB = 1024KB, 1GB=1024MB. So for every 1GB, our computer calculates 24MB less than the decimal numbers.
