-2 piston brakes are a fair bit lighter than 4 piston, and are ideal for XC and more all mountain oriented rides. These brakes are quite light compared to older models weighing it at only 543g for both brakes! (measured without hardware, or red plastic clip in pic)
-Servo technology and high pressure lines! These allow pads to sit a large distance from the rotor preventing rotor rub. This also increases braking power dramatically. The pads move quickly at first with low leverage, and then slowly with lots of force advantage when they get near the rotor! Similar to how car brakes work.
