Two of these VIP PLUS ULT freezers are available, one branded Sanyo, the other Panasonic, both have very similar model numbers (Sanyo MDF-C2156VAN / Panasonic MDF-C2156VAN-PA) which is now sold under the PHcbi brand. Replacement value is about $19000 in Canada. These came out of a Canadian bio-laboratory where they were used for cryogenic freezing of samples in the removable stainless compartments seen in the pics. These use 220V power at 1700W. We powered them up using a 110V to 220V transformer one of which can be purchased for $100-$200 online. These can be used with a nitrogen back up tank and the connector hose for these is included. We also have the a couple of the tanks, but they are missing their lids. Both freezers work and show well, with one missing its keys and with a slight dent on the lower left front corner. The serial numbers are 10010004 and 14040027. Both units are in Calgary at the moment, but are available for delivery to Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer or places in between at no charge. Elsewhere in Canada delivery will be between $300 and $600 depending on the location and type of delivery required.
